Full Publishing Production includes: professional book cover design (ebook and print versions), interior formatting and typesetting (ebook EPUB and print-ready PDF), front matter and back matter setup, ISBN guidance (or registration with pass-through cost), metadata optimization for retail platforms, and distribution setup guidance. Optional add-ons include AI audio narration and editing services. You receive all production files upon completion.
No. Crimson PulpFic is NOT a vanity press. We provide professional production services—you pay for specific deliverables (cover design, formatting, etc.) and receive the finished files. You retain full ownership of your work, your ISBN, and your publishing accounts. We don't take royalties, we don't lock you into contracts, and we don't pretend to be a "publisher" when we're providing services. You're the publisher. We're your production team.
A typical Full Publishing Production project takes approximately 4 weeks from manuscript receipt to delivery of final files. This timeline assumes your manuscript is already edited and ready for production. If you need editing services bundled in, add 2-4 weeks depending on manuscript length and the level of editing required.
Full Publishing Production includes 4-5 revision rounds for cover design and interior layout. This gives you ample opportunity to request adjustments until you're satisfied with the final product. Additional revision rounds beyond the included amount can be arranged at an hourly rate.
We provide ISBN guidance and can handle registration on your behalf with pass-through cost (no markup). The ISBN is registered in YOUR name as the publisher—not ours. You maintain full ownership and control. We can also advise on whether you need ISBNs (free Amazon ASINs work fine for many authors) and help you understand the implications of each approach.
Cover design includes both ebook cover (front only, optimized for thumbnail visibility) and print cover (full wrap: front, spine, and back cover with barcode placement). You receive high-resolution files in appropriate formats for all major retailers. We work with you to understand your genre expectations, target audience, and vision before creating concepts.
Yes. Editing services are available as standalone services or bundled with Full Publishing Production. We offer developmental editing (big-picture structure, plot, character arcs), line editing (prose style, voice, sentence-level refinement), and copy editing (grammar, consistency, fact-checking). Each level serves a different purpose, and we'll recommend what your manuscript actually needs.
AI audio narration is available as an optional add-on service. Using professional-grade AI voice synthesis, we can produce audiobook files suitable for retail distribution on platforms like Audible, Google Play, and Apple Books. This is a cost-effective alternative to traditional human narration while still delivering quality audio. Human narration referrals available upon request.
You do. We're a production service, not a marketing agency or traditional publisher. We deliver professional-quality files and help you set up distribution accounts, but ongoing marketing, advertising, and sales are your responsibility as the author-publisher. We can recommend resources and strategies, but we don't manage campaigns or guarantee sales.
